Re: Warning Lights, Dashboard Like A Christmas Tree!
Hello The Traveller, they said the same thing about photo evidence to me. At first I thought it would require operating the phone camera while driving, but the warning messages are present when stationary.

Warning Lights, Dashboard Like A Christmas Tree!
A few months ago I was on a motorway when the Macan's dashboard lit up like a Christmas Tree, warning messages came thick and fast, ACC/PAS, All Wheel Drive unavailable, fault with the air suspension, parking brake fault, and ABS/PSM failure. Wow! It was a lot to process! I slowed down and limped ba...

Re: Extending Porsche warranty - worth ringing around OPC s for quotes?
As the owner of a Macan, where awkward electrical faults began immediately after the warranty expired, I salute your prescient decision to extend!

Re: Hit a Deer!!!
I live in the New Forest, where there are about 100 ponies, cattle, donkeys, or deer killed or injured in road accidents each year. Deer are particularly vulnerable in that when the lead doe decides to cross a road the rest just blindly follow. It can take five minutes or so for the entire herd to c...

Re: Macan in classic racing liveries
They all look preposterous.
The Macan is an exceptionally attractive vehicle, but racing stripes on a two ton SUV is like a fatty in lycra.

More Diesel Dismalness
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-42615559 The drip, drip, drip of negative news isn't stopping. Here's what I find puzzling though, 1. SUV's are growing in popularity, that's the type of car that people increasingly want 2. The size and weight of SUV's means diesel engines are crucial for the majo...

Re: Budget and diesel fuel
An extra few hundred quid on the new price of a Macan is neither here nor there. I'd rather it stayed in my pocket rather than the chancellor's, but at the end of the day it's not a deal breaker. What would be a deal breaker though, for me at least, is if anti-diesel sentiment starts to restrict acc...

Re: Budget and diesel fuel
AFAIK the Macan meets Euro 6 emissions, and I'd hoped that would be the diesel standard that would be used to determine tax, congestion charging, access to city centres, parking restrictions, etc. It's concerning that RDE2 (which to be honest I'd never heard of before) is being used as an actionable...
