Re: Macan 2020
I have had cars with and without it. I wouldn’t worry too much about the lack of it…….

Re: New to the Macan
Lovely looking car and I was looking for one in GBM for a while as I love the colour. A couple came up over the last year or so, one at an independent and another recently at an OPC but was pipped at the post on both. Certainly a rare colour…… I have seen two, one at Dick Lovett recently and one on...

Re: London Macan insurance
I’ve got a quote of 1k via Allianz. Waiting for Lockton insurance quote to come back, has anyone had quotes from them before? Yes, it wasn't worth the wait... sems their market is owners with multiple "proper" Porsches all on limited annual mileage. Definitely no good for a 10k pa Macan! ...

Re: Possible new Macan owner - £40k budget - what to g
An interesting dilemma and one I have just been through. After buying a new 2017 GTS (volcano with pebble interior) and suffering a leaking sun roof that proved difficult to repair I lost confidence in the vehicle despite it supposedly being fixed. I eventually sold it and vowed never to buy another...

Re: Front and rear cam
If you fit this and then want the OPC to carry out warranty work don’t be surprised if they refuse to do it. My OPC wouldn’t fit a non Porsche camera quoting this as the reason….. Many others have installed 'other brand' dashcams without any issues and I picked one with a few years' worth of review...

Re: Front and rear cam
Apparently same as Audi UTR: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154868907203 I've gone for a more tailored/fitted set up: https://fitcamx.com/products/fitcamx-dash-cam-for-porsche?variant=41130386260140 These are a few quid cheaper from Aliexpress (I got a deal for under £200) Not due to get our cars until...

Re: Joining the club
“Pano roof leaks only happen because the owner fails to ensure the drains are kept clear. It is no simple task as the discharge locations are hidden from view” Incorrect! They also happen because the pano roof cassette that sits in the aperture is not seated and/or sealed correctly. Of course the st...

Re: You Pay Peanuts ………..
Sorry to point this out but this thread has descended into a bunch of well off blokes poking fun at others paid less than they are (even the thread title implies it). Have a go at Inchape or Sytner Group or Porsche GB by all means but probably best leave people trying to build a career out of it. T...
