Over 50 miles in an 18 way and numbness can set in, there is no squirm room, the 18 way seats lock you firmly in position.
Another downside is dependent upon the physical size of the driver and passenger when one may find that one does not sit in the seat but on it.
Always best to have a very long test drive session 1/2 day or ideally a full day to be sure that you can live with an 18 way.
If in doubt, go for 14 way.

Never personally had the numbness issue, I find them very very comfortableCol Lamb wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 8:26 pmOver 50 miles in an 18 way and numbness can set in, there is no squirm room, the 18 way seats lock you firmly in position.

I even prefer the 8 way GTS bucket seats over the 14s
Definitely need to sit in them for a 1 hr drive, everyone’s different
Totally agree about the 8-way GTS seats and with the Alcantara / Race Tex centres.sd1985 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 8:44 pmNever personally had the numbness issue, I find them very very comfortableCol Lamb wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 8:26 pmOver 50 miles in an 18 way and numbness can set in, there is no squirm room, the 18 way seats lock you firmly in position.

I found the 14-way too flat and didn't hold me during brisk high speed corners.

Like most things on here, folks will generally only endorse what they currently have.
I have had both and stick by my original observations
