I don’t seem to have Comfort Entry on my Gen 3 Macan S (with 14 ways), so I think it must have been dropped.
The moving steering column element wouldn’t work anyway, because this is no longer motorised.

If its not a hardware issue why would they switch it off?

Column is now manual. THAT is why it is no longer specced. Re - programming will only get the seat movement, obviously, its the combination of clearance that makes the function impressive/worth having. Ignition off, wheel moves up and away, open the door, seat retracts.

Ah, OK. Thanks for clearing that up. Yes, confusing !Jon A wrote: ↑Mon Jan 02, 2023 9:19 amI think we are talking about the “comfort entry” here which is the seat sliding bit. “Comfort access” is the keyless entry function- Porsche use “comfort” in both and it gets confusing…
I was expecting it but alas not activated. Will have a chat with OPC as there’s about a foot difference between the wife and I.
Memory seats are great but I have to stand there with my finger on the button before I can get in (first world problem I know)

When I was in the OPC a couple of weeks ago having a couple of minor things rectified I presented all that I know about the Comfort Entry fix in a bid to get it enabled, and they were adamant there is no fix yet. They actually said the only offcial fix they have for Comfort Entry is to diable it, which was something they had to do when the first cars came through with no electric steering.Hedgehog70 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 6:41 am I was expecting it but alas not activated. I think you may have been one of the first not to get it. Apparently soon after the first cars came through Porsche issued OPCs with an update to disable it. Apparently they could reverse the update which they think might re-instate it but they are not willing to do so. All very weird.
